May 1999 <br /> . <br /> Page 13. <br /> Request from-Town Planner; A request received for funding from the <br /> Conservation fund for. $8000 to fund Parking lots at the Fitch and Taut <br /> properties that required state self-Help funds. Greg Taylor has run out of <br /> money. { <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to expend the money for the parking lots. <br /> Unanimous Note. <br /> Indian Museum: There will be a meeting a week from tomorrow with Torn <br /> Accountant, Greg Taylor, Don Liptack and the Agent in attendance. Funds <br /> have to be spent by the end ofthe fiscal year and bills submitted. I would be <br /> a shame to loose the $24,000 grant. <br /> 105 Waterline Drive South: Request for pian change to substitute blue <br /> stone patio to a deck within the work limit. There is no impact. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to approve the plan change. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> Flood Zone: There have been a number of situations lately where project <br /> were going on that the Agent doubted were within 100 feet of the Flood Zone. <br /> He asked Planning, with their GIs equipment, to project the flood zone. <br /> Flood Maps do not show the boundaries of lots. There is a House going up at <br /> the corner of Alma and Wading Flare, near the Community center, and the <br /> plan was submitted to Building. It was not based on NGVD but on assumed <br /> elevations. <br /> The Agent is working on letter to consultants that if any project is within <br /> Soo ofwhat looks like a flood map, they have to provide a surveyed plan <br /> based on NGVD. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to send a letter to Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering to tell thew there is some doubt about Map 111, <br /> Block 196 in terms of being 100' from the Flood Zone and a <br /> plan is needed based on NGVD. Unanimous vote. <br /> MMR: A request received from Chris Faux. lack Road infiltrators have <br /> been overwhelmed and water has gone down beyond. They have pledged to <br /> the Town that they would try to develop plans to contain all stoma water on <br /> the base. Mr. Sherman stated he showed him a small wetland just off the <br /> base, Soo - 400 yards north of the trailer park and it is a wetland with some <br /> significant wetland value for wildlife habitat. He does not believe it is a big <br />
