May 1999
Page 4.
was re-stabilized, That house is closer to the inland bank than this one.
Mr. Piscatelli asked, on lot 25, when that hone was being built, there is
concrete don there the size of a septic system, is that septic system under
that building? The Chair stated that has nothing to do with this application.
Mr. Rosenberg asked if he (Mr. Piscatelli) was asking if something is under
here? Mr. Piscatelli stated that is right. The septic tank is under the house
on let 25. They shove something else on the plans and it shoved it was on the
left side of the house but there is not enough land to support that so he must
have put it underneath that house.
Mrs. Piscatelli stated when these houses are finished, no one wants to buy
them and they end up being rented and there are major problems in the
neighborhood.
Mr. Sherman stated, regarding Lot 25, if they think the septic has leen
properly installed, has this been brought to the Board of Health? Mr.
Piscatelli stated everything passed.
Mike Silva asked if they are going to do the same thing to this house? The
Chair stated that is not what the plan says. Mr. Silva stated it isn't. The
septic is 26' to the bottom of the tank. Mr. Harvey stated vertical separation
is 26'. Mr. Silva asked if that is all you have for leaching; Mr. Harvey stated
yes, it is no different than the houses across the street.
Mr. vollenha pt advised it is 26' of vertical separation for the soils. It is 26'
of soils before hitting a ground water table then it has a lateral run to the
wetlands so there is plenty of leach field.
Jim Huxley asked how many trees are to be taken down? The Chair stated
there is a work limit shown on the plan. Mr. Huxley expressed concern with
their loss of part of the buffer for route 151 with noise and pollution.
Mr. Sherman stated that is not within the Commission's purview.
Mr. Shaw asked if the retaining wall will be part of theconditions? Mr.
Berman will condition that.the retaining wall has to be remain until the
area is stabilized.
The Chair stated he hoped that was satisfactory to the abutters.
J
