20 May 1999 <br /> Page 1 . <br /> Mr. Sherman stated stairs could not be off the apron because of the <br /> screening. Ms Ball stated there is a natural break in vegetation that can be <br /> used. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked what will be done with the existing deck? It will be <br /> taken down. Ms Ball stated they will mulch or additional low grass <br /> plantings. Mr. Sherman stated the landscaping and stairs will be the <br /> appropriate focus ofars Amended Order to follow. This was agreed. A plan <br /> shoving a cross section of the pool and enhanced screening planting to be <br /> provided. He would also encourage when they have a-more succinct plan that <br /> this be run by the wilding Inspector. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked to go back to the patio encroaching on the coastal <br /> bank. Mr. Sherman stated it goes up to it, Mr. Fitzsimmons stated it goes <br /> over the coastal bank. lair. Sherman stated it should not go over the bank. <br /> The pool could be made narrower but it will have to stop short of the coastal <br /> bank. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close p nding revised plan with beefed <br /> vegetation, removal of the concrete apron from the coastal bank and <br /> a condition they will cone back for other landscaping changes and <br /> the stairs. Unanimous Vote. <br /> CLOSED PENDING. <br /> 7:50 BARBARA B. NICHOLS for a Determination of Applicability on a <br /> proposed addition of 12' x 12' deck to an existing cottage and plantings at <br /> Jones Road. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the area is no closer to the resource. it is an old house at <br /> the edge of the water, devoid of any wildlife habitat characteristics. They <br /> need Board ofAppeals. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion wade and seconded to find negative pending Board o <br /> Appeals. Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE PENDING. <br />
