They have installed monitoring wells, exempt <br /> under the Act. Under the bylaw they have been permitted without formal <br /> permitting if they met with us prior to. They put one well in Trustees of <br /> Reservations land, very near a wetland. They have to bring a drill rig in and <br /> may have to remove two trees which they will replace. The Agent <br /> recommended going ahead. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to approve the request from DEP. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> Coastal Access: There will be a workshop on 24 June at the Superior Court <br /> Douse at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Thornton Burgess: Request received for use of Conservation land. Policy <br /> is to let groups go in. The Chair questioned requesting a waiver of liability. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated it was not necessary as the area is open to the public. <br /> They are requesting permission as a courtesy. The Agent thought Thornton <br /> Burgess assumes liability. <br />
