Mr. Sherman stated the Commission requires
minimum of 50 ft. unless the client can prove there is no wildlife habitat or
that the project cannot be modified at all. He is concerned about the steep
coastal bark and this being right into it. He asked if it is possible to cut back
on the size of the house? They might want to consider ars engineered
retaining wall put in before excavation is done. He also asked, if on the ends,
could they tuck the work limit around? Mr. Sanicki agreed. He suggested
plywood staked in the ground.
Mr. Rosenberg stated it looks like less than 35' and asked them to pull the
house bank. Mr. Sanicki stated with Title v they cannot do this. He can
change the work limit off the deck and patio and return it as asked.
Mr. Sherman asked if the patio has to go that far; could they out back one
foot? It is so close to a steep bark. It is going to be an increase source of run-
off.
Mr. Rosenberg asked how much higher is the aleck going to be from the patio?
It would be 8 feet.
Mr. Sherman suggested they make the house smaller but they still would be
on t he bank.
