INC,, 53 sum ersea Road, <br /> continued from 29 July 1999. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 9 September • <br /> 1999 at the request of the applicant. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED, <br /> 8:00 GERALD SEGEL for the installation of an 18 x 36 foot Gunnite pool <br /> with associated dry ell within an existing lawn area with mitigative <br /> plantings added to the Naturally vegetated R ffer at 132 shore Drive west. <br /> Mary Leblanc presenting. It was a very disturbed lot with an eroding bank. <br /> The pool would be in the 0-100' buffer. There is an ecology mix lawn there <br /> now. The lots are 7 ' wide and there is a problem with access. They have <br /> requested permission to access through an adjacent lot. Permission was <br /> granted and is in the file. one small oak tree has to be removed. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the CommiLssion cannot give permission to work on the <br /> other lot, it would have to be through an RTA. Ms Leblanc asked if that <br /> would apply if they avoid removing the tree? Where is no need to remove any <br /> vegetation. Mr. Sherman stated they would be altering a lot not In this <br /> filing. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked if there is much erosion? Ms Leblanc stated no. She <br /> advised Ms Roretos had a concern with rosy rugosa and she revised the plant <br /> list to beach plum and bayberry. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg asked if the area is to remain lawn? Ms Leblanc stated they <br /> will put back the lawn removed for access. Mr. Rosenberg stated if disturbed <br /> for the pool, it ought to be replaced with vegetation rather than lawn. <br /> Ms Roretos stated there is a very well vegetated ' to the top of the bank. <br /> Ms Leblanc stated there is no concern for run-off. The lawn is ecology mix. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised Board of Health comments stated they must conform to <br /> pool setbacks. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> VOTE: ].Motion mach and seconded to close subject to removal of work on the <br /> adjacent property not on this application and approval of an RDA for <br /> lot access. Unanimous vote. <br />
