September 1999
Page 13.
Mr. Sherman has met with the landscaper and excavator. The plan meets all
standards. He will have to calculate the lawn area.
Public comment: none.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close pending acceptance of the lawn
area by the Agent. Unanimous vote.
CLOSED PENDING,
9:00 CHARLES Lo RON for a Determination of Applicability on
placement of a 10' x 12' portable shed; placement of gravel on a driveway; and
plantings at 17/21 santuit Lane. Mr. Lo ron was present.
Ms. Boretos stated there have been a number of violations at the site. This
filing is a direct result of a shed being put up. she saw the property last
spring and the deck and walkway were 12' to the BVW. The BVW was cut
and more recently more cutting and lim ing of oaks was done. she issued an
Enforcement order last week and told him it would be up to the Commission
as to what would be required.
Mr. Lo ron stated the shed was shown on a plan done by Mario DiGregorio.
He said he spoke of the need for a shed in a conversation a year ago with Mrs.
Lund.
Mr. Sherman stated Mr. Lo ron's selective memory is not true; it is faulty.
He suggested looking to see the project meets the performance standards.
Mr. Lol ron stated the Board of Health approved it. They wanted it moved to
the right 5 feet. He stated he had cut down a tree 2" in diameter to the left of
the she d.
Mr. Sherman asked if the shed met performance standards. Ms Boretos
stated it dict but suggested mitigation plantings for removal of limbs and
VW in front of the house.
Mr. Lo ron stated he flew the whistle on the previous people. He stated he
removed four bushes. Since then he has gotten some of the guidelines from
the Dept. of Environmental Protection
Mr. Sherman stated, to solve the issue, Mr. Lo ron could plant two shrubs,
pay a $50 fine for the cutting.
t
