MAS PEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes f 9 September 1999 <br /> Commissioners present; John Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Ralph <br /> Shaw, George Green Jr., John Johansen, <br /> Greg Wirsen. <br /> The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. with a quorum present. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: None. <br /> 7:33 PETER RRUMME for a Determination of Applicability on proposed <br /> removal of one oak tree and permission to cross a 30 s.f section of buffer with <br /> excavation equipment at 130 Shore Drive west. Ms Boretos. advised this 1s <br /> just barely within the buffer zone and recommended negative. <br /> Publiccomment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> 7:05 EDGAR R, QUIET for a Determination of Applicability ori the <br /> proposed removal ofthree trees and cutting of briars within the work limit at <br /> 196 Rbek Landing Road. Mr. and Mrs. Quiet were present. Mr. Quiet <br /> stated the request is predicated on the proximity of trees to the douse. If <br /> there is a storm, they would have an oak tree all over the house. They met <br /> with Diane Roretos last week and she agreed to allow some limbing of two of <br /> the trees 2 and 3 on the application). He is still concerned and wants to <br /> remove ## . <br /> Ms. Roret s stated I and 4 could be removed; 2 and 3 could be limbed. The <br /> other two trees are on the edge of the PVW. She recommended approval <br /> under Negative 2, with the caveats as above. She would meet with the <br /> person doing the work. Mr. Quiet added language to the request. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked if this was in the 100 year flood zone? Ms Roretos <br /> stated it is at the edge of the RVW. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to fend negative. Unanimous vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br />
