Unanimous Vote.
HEARING CONTINUED.
8:00 TRICO BUILDERS, 160 Algonquin Ave., continued. from 23
September 1999. Mile Borsellf presenting. Abutter notification receipts
provided. This was continued as flags were not numbered and added to the
plan. The lots were tiny and five were combined to one. The lot is very
narrow to meet setback requirements. Plan shows a minimum of 35' from
the BVW to the work limit. The deck is cantilevered and goes to the limit of
work. It is a very steep lot and drops off over 20 feet. It has a walkout. Deck
is on.the first floor. They could not meet Title v and will be install the Ruck
denitrifying system by way of mitigating. He provided a letter from the
Board of Health dated 9122 approving the variance conditioned upon the
septic as shown. They are also requiring ultra-violet.
Mr. Sherman stated the hearing cannot be closed until Board of Health
approves. The deck and staking were easy to find. on steep lots the
Commission has required reinforcement with a temporary retaining wall.
This meets the performance standards.
Mr. Borrelli stated this is passive technology.
Public comment:
Ed Svagdis, next door abutter, advised Trico Builders built their house and so
many parts of the house do not pass. They were offered that piece of lard in
court settlement and were told it was not buildable. All the things they
asked for and were denied seem to be okay to happen next doom. They were
not allowed to build any further back. Now, after they have clone this, the
regulations aro being lessened.
