18 November 1999 <br /> Page 7. <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated the proposed structure is going no closer to the coastal <br /> bank than the existing; it is being reconstructed. <br /> Mr. Foley stated under state building code, that structure must be brought <br /> up to current standards. It is a lodging house. It would require changing to <br /> a single family residence. The old use was as a lodging house; it does not <br /> meet,the performance standards. <br /> Mr:- Sherman stated it is not a coastal access. Jt is a stable bank and it does <br /> not provide sediment. <br /> Mr. Foley stated it is a vertical buffer. Under 10.34 that makes it subject to <br /> these regulations. It has to be protected. Any construction will damage the <br /> wetland resource. The applicant has not submitted any information contrary <br /> to this. <br /> Mary Himmel of Uncatena Road stated she was here on Monday and things <br /> were missing from the package. <br /> It was agreed the only issue outstanding is the septic. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 2 December <br /> 1999 at 7:55 .m.
