Regulation 3 <br /> To facilitate recovery from the after-effects of any storax event for which D.E.P. has <br /> issued emergency regulations, the Mashpee Conservation Commission adopts the <br /> following Special Regulations under Chapter 172 of the Mashpee Code. Some normal <br /> procedures are hereby waived for the time periods as specifiedy p the applicable D.E.P. <br /> emergency regulations, except as terminated sooner by a vote of the Comm'ss�on. <br /> For any work in any areas cited in section 2 of Chapter 172, the following shall apply: <br /> (A) The Commission adopts the following as allowable types of Emergency Word see <br /> Dote below and Chanter 172 Emerg-ency Storm Certificate Guidance Document for a <br /> more complete description of these categories) <br /> .(a) CLEAT UP AI D_REM VAL of OBJECTS AND DEBRIS' <br /> (b) REPAIR(BUT NOT EXPANSION) OF ANY BUILDING OR <br /> FOUNDATION' <br /> (c) REMOVAL OF DEBRIS I-ECESSARY TO CLEAR A ROADWAY OR <br /> RAILWAY' <br /> (d) 'MINOR REPAIR TO A ROADWAY, BRIDGE, CAUSEWAY OR <br /> RAILWAY <br /> i <br /> (B) The Commission adopts the following as allowable types of Emergency dor (see <br /> Chapter 172 Emergency Storax Certificate Gnidance'Document for a more complete <br /> description of these categories): <br /> • <br /> a. TEMPORARY 1 AJ R REPAIRS OF COASTAL ENGINEERING <br /> STRUCTURES' <br /> (b) TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT ENT of SAND D T SUBSTITUTE FOR <br /> DAMAGED EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURE <br /> (c) STABILIZING AND SHORING UP BUILDINGS OR FOUNDATIONS 7 <br /> (d) MINOR REPAIR TO A GROIN, JETTY, BREAKWATER, SEAWALL, <br /> REVETMENT OR BULKHEAD WHEN SUCH STRUCTURES WERE <br /> PREVIOUSLY LICENSED UNDER M.G.L., CHAPTER 1 <br /> (e) REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IN THE SANTE LOCATION, BUT NOT <br /> EXPANSION, of DOCKS, PIERS AND WALKWAYS THAT ARE LESS <br /> THAN % DESTROYED WHEN SUCH STRUCTURES WERE <br /> PREVIOUSLY LICENSED UNDER M.G.L., CHAPTER 1 <br /> �.(f) DRE D GING FOR THE PURPOSE OF REE S TAB LI S HING CHANNELS <br /> TILLED BY THE (APPLICABLE) STORM EVENV O <br /> (9r) MAJOR REPAIRS To ROADWAYS, BRIDGES, CAUSEWAYS OR <br /> RAILWAYS" <br /> (h) FOR STRUCTURES THAT ARE LESS THAN FIFTY PERCENT <br /> DAMAGED, PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY REPAIRS TO SEPTIC <br />
