Costa spoke to a proposed sealed basin to be located in <br /> the driveway, a retaining wall located towards the back of the <br /> dwelling, - site grading, contours, outside facing materials, loam <br /> and. .dawn, drywells, and vegetated ground cover around any <br /> disturbed area, and a row of staked hay bales. <br /> Ms. B retos requested an explanation of the drainage swale, <br /> and asked if fill is going to be necessary underneath the deck <br /> area, as well as the elevations of the deck when completed. <br /> It was determined that the well is to be put in by hand; <br /> questions were also asked about the drainage swale; and it was <br /> requested by George Green that these details be indicated on the <br /> plan. making reference to the plan he suggested one of the bale <br /> lines be closed inmediately after construction of the well; the <br /> other should be maintained. <br /> 1► s. Boretos recommended staked hay bales and a siltation <br /> fence would be required of this project; she also noted there is <br /> beech forest area, and that some of the beech trees are over <br /> one hundred (100) years old. <br /> George Green suggested further specific details be noted on <br /> the plan before this matter is noted (filter cloth, closing the <br /> hay bale lime, and revegetation . <br /> There being no public comment or further Commission <br /> discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a lotion to Close; which motion was <br /> seconded by Greg Wirsen and so voted unanimously. <br /> 8:45 Andrew Logie, 36 Barbary Circle, a continuance from <br /> January 20th-RDA. The Chairman called this matter to order and <br /> recognized Patrick Lawhead, Certified Horticulturist, Lawhead <br /> Landscape Company, representing Mr. Logie. <br /> r. Sherman informed. the Conmission that all of the work <br /> being proposed is located above the top of the bank. <br /> References were being made to a plan, with Mr. Lawhead <br /> indicating those trees that are to be cut down, pruned, size and <br /> diameter of the trees, and identification of species. <br /> #r. Lawhead explained that eliminating the smaller trees in <br /> this area would stimulate growth of the larger trees. He also <br /> stated he is reconunend .ng tree pruning to encourage better health <br /> and to enhance maturity of the trees; this is not vista pruning. <br /> There being no public cormuent or further commission <br /> discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTI Carol Moore rade a Motion ion for Negative <br /> _16- <br />
