There being no public comment or further Commission <br /> discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: John Johansen made a Motion to Close, subject to ars <br /> on-site approval of reveg tat ion; which Motion was seconded by <br /> Carol Moore and so voted unanimously. <br /> 7 :2 Armando V. Agnitti, 150 sumersea Road, continued. from <br /> March 2nd, Notice of Intent. <br /> The Chairman recognized David sanicki, Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering, who explained this property is located to the south <br /> f the Sabatini property. <br /> Mr.. Sanicki was making reference to a plan, noting the <br /> location of Applicant ' s property being house #147 . He proposed a <br /> vertical bulkhead, and construction of some preventative <br /> installation. <br /> Mr. Sherman inquired as to the extent of the use of gabions <br /> in proportion to the toe of the bank on Applicant' s property. <br /> Mr. Sanicki responded by making reference to the plan, <br /> stating the order of Conditions are valid for a period of three <br /> years with provisions for extensions. Gabion placement being <br /> subject to ars on-site review by the Conservation Agent prior to <br /> installation. <br /> Mr. Sanicki informed the Commission that the gabion baskets <br /> are available in various sizes, smaller baskets may be used in <br /> areas where erosion is less severe. <br /> Diane Boretos inquired as to the location of marsh. <br /> Mr. Sherman responded there is marsh along the whole area <br /> under discussion. He stated his opinion to be that only a few <br /> spots merit having protection. He suggested this proposal be <br /> approved in a phased approach, and seemed unsure as to how to <br /> best condition the proposal at this time. He further~ suggested <br /> that gabion placement be subject to delineation on a plan, which <br /> would be -submitted for approval of each phase. <br /> Mr. Sherman emphasized there are large stretches of the <br /> subject area where there is no erosion, in his opinion more than <br /> half. There are a few areas of minor erosion. <br /> Mr. sanicki stated he would have no objection to the phased <br /> approach outlined by Mr. Sherman. <br /> The Chairman asked for clarification of the proposal being <br /> presented to the Commission. <br /> Mr. Snicki explained this to be a double filing, to include <br />
