He <br /> stated the dock is proposed to be placed approximately two feet <br /> above the marsh, fiberglass mesh grate is to be used, there will <br /> be very little .impact on the growth of the grass and will have no <br /> visual impact . However, a raised section of five ft. ) feet <br /> will be necessary between the mean low water and the flet to <br /> allow for public access . <br /> Diane Boretos stated she has reviewed the site and considers <br /> the property to be a very valuable wildlife habitat peninsula, <br /> which is the reason. for commission concern regarding the location <br /> of the dock being placed as far away from the peninsula a <br /> possible. <br /> Ms. Boretos requested Applicant not use electrical lights <br /> aloe the walkway, stating this would cause a disturbance to <br /> nesting birds.
