Y <br /> MASHPEE CONSERVATION SERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes f 17 August 2000 <br /> Commissioners present: Elliot Rosenberg, Chair Pro Tem, Ralph Shaw, <br /> John Johansen, Carol Moore, Robert Shea. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:55 p.m. with a quorum present. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT: Edward Baker of the Natural Resource <br /> Committee came forward and presented a package of information to the <br /> Commission. He requested that the Commission appoint a member and <br /> alternate to the Natural Resource Management Committee. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated it is an agenda item later as the Selectmen also asked <br /> the Commission to appoint members. <br /> Mr. baker thanked the Commission. <br /> 7:00 JOHN BIBO for a Determination of Applicability on the removal o <br /> existing paved area and addition of crushed stone at 58 Captain's Rove. <br /> Ms Boretos stated the driveway is a horseshoe around the house. It will novo <br /> be permeable. She recommended negative 2. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION, <br /> 7:05 BRIAN HO ES for 122 linear foot pier, ramp, float and pilings, access <br /> path and mitigation plantings in land under the ocean, a salt marsh, coastal <br /> bank,'on land subject to coastal storm flowage and within loo feet of a coastal <br /> bank at 70, 72 and 74 summersea Road. Steven Silva of Holmes & McGrath <br /> was present. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he had nop rol le with the design. The size of the boat <br /> will be limited in accordance with water depths. The project needs Board of <br /> Appeals. Comments from the shellfish warden were read into the record. <br /> Publiccomments: none. <br />
