MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of 7 September 2000 <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Robert <br /> i <br /> Shea, John Johansen, Michael Talbot Ralph <br /> Shag. <br /> The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:55 .m.' with a quorum <br /> present. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT: None. <br /> 7:00 MAS PEE DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS for a Determination of <br /> Applicability on a proposal to reconstruct existing roads and drainage <br /> within the right-of-way at Mashpee Shores Subdivision. Greg Taylor, <br /> Director, was present. only a few areas are within the Board's <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if there washo new drainage. Mr. Taylor stated not <br /> near any wetland. There will be leach pits but not out of the layout. <br /> Mr. Sherman had no problem with a negative determination. <br /> Public comment: John Brown asked the timetable. Nor. Taylor stated <br /> this fall, within the next month. <br /> Mr. Brown asked, as the representative of the Association, who <br /> petitioned for the taking of the roads, who bears the expense and why <br /> not cooperate with the Mashpee Water District for a better- timetable.. <br /> The Chair stated those issues are b tw cn the Association. and the Water <br /> District. <br /> - <br /> Mr. Sherman stated there are no grounds for denying. <br /> Mr. Brown stated they want the grater pipes in before the roads are <br /> s tante d. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the grater lines-would be subject to a hearing. Mr. <br /> Bran stated bids were supposed to be in on the 8th. <br /> Mr. Taylor advised he would not be changing the roach before next <br /> Spring. <br />
