To a <br /> question of Board of Health approval, Mr. Grotzke stated the request for a variance is <br /> being heard this evening. At the last Board of Appeals meeting, they asked for a <br /> variance for setback to the top of coastal bank and a special permit is needed for <br /> demolishing in the structure. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close and issue subject to a plan showing <br /> existingexisfing vegetation and a salvaging plan, a letter saying the services of <br /> Peter Fletcher will be paid and Board of Appeals action. unanimous Vote. <br /> CLOSED PEN DING. <br /> 8:15 BERISH PROPERTIES, INC., 4 Waterline Drive forth, continued from 31 August 200 0. <br /> Michael Prot l e presenting. Abutter receipts were provided. This is a demo with <br /> reconstruction. There is a path to the dock they will eliminate and adding a path from <br /> the shortest point from the house going to the walkover structure over the dune with <br /> steps to the clod at the high grater marl . They have roved the septic as far as <br /> possible. The existing septic is to be abandoned. They are proposing a denitrifying <br /> system. <br /> Ms Boretos gave Mr. herr an's comments: They are increasing from three to four <br /> bedrooms which is okay as long as the system is denite. (It does have a denitrifying <br /> system). A revised plan is needed showing trees within and near existing patio that are <br /> proposed to be removed. There are some significant oafs that should be retained{ if <br /> possible. Plan should also show existing patio vis-a-vis what is proposed. qtr. Grotle <br /> stated it sloes. She continued with Mr. herman's comments: The work can be <br /> significantly brought back to no more than 2' off proposed patio. The plan should also <br /> show, as per requirements, areas of vegetation so that a comparison can be made of <br /> ghat is already there vs planned planting. ACEC should be shown on plan, not just a <br /> note. Nor. trot l e stated it is the 10' contour. It is on there and labeled as ACEC from <br /> the 10' contour seaward. Ms Boretos advised Mr. Sherman suggested a continuance for <br /> a plan with these revisions. <br /> Mr. Grotle asked if they could revise the plan and meet on situ Ms Boretos would be <br /> 4 reluctant to do that as Mr. Sherman asked for the ACEC line and so did not realize a <br /> portion of the house is over it. <br /> Pudic comment: Steven Croopnicl , an abutter, provided comments to be entered into <br /> the record. He i not recommending any changes in fhe house. The plan does not <br /> reflect what the intention of the parties is. He hoped the Commission would consider the <br /> conditions he summarized. a recommended the leaching system be relocated. Mr. <br /> trot l e stated the plan before the Board of Health this evening shows the septic <br /> relocation. <br /> Mr. Croopnick stated re mitigation and protection of the vegetation, relocating the work <br /> limit will protect more of the natural vegetation between the houses and he proposed <br />
