MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of 5 October 2000 <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons,Elliot Rosenberg,John Johansen,Ralph Shaw, <br /> Carol Moore,Robert Shea,Michael Talbot. <br /> Chair Fitzsimmons called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. with a quorum present. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT: None. <br /> 7:00 STEVEN BALL for a Determination of Applicability on the installation of a 11' x 3.8" ramp t <br /> a Chapter 91, 10A float #10-A677, 2 - 6.0 x 6.0 tie exp posts and 2 round gate posts at 156 <br /> lnmsoy load. <br /> Mr. Sherman recommended a negative finding. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded for a negative determination. Unanim us Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. - <br /> 7:05 HANS FRITHI to amend the Order of Conditions for SE 4 -1635 to build steps over <br /> Fisting steps, to construct a landing and ramp to a floating dock and clear selected trees at 170 <br /> Pimlico fond Road. Mr.Frits hi was present. The dock will be bottom anchored,"T"-shape. <br /> 11th. Sherman stated there would be less impact than before. <br /> Mr. Talbot inquired about the removal of trees? Mr. Frits hi stated they are very small trees <br /> shown on the plan at the foot of the hill. They will keep the large trees. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated it has to fit within the policy for vista pruning;no more than 1 out of , <br /> the protocol for prescribed cutting. <br /> i <br /> It was noted Board of Appeals action is required. <br /> Public comment:none. <br /> VOTE: Notion made and seconded to accept the amendment subject to Board of Appeals action <br /> and conditions for vista pruning. Unanimous Vote. <br /> AMENDMENT ACCEPTED. <br /> 7:10 EDGEWATER INVESTMENT LTD PARTNERSHIP for the proposed demolition and <br /> removal of two existing buildings, construction and maintenance of a ' x 40" marina support <br /> building, installation of a Title V sewage disposal system, installation relocation of existing and <br /> proposed utilities, and the clearing, grading and landscaping associated with such construction <br /> on a coastal bank, in land subject to coastal storm flowage and within 100 feet of a man-made <br /> coastal bark, bordering vegetated wetland and freshwater pond at Half Tide Marir'a, 21 Frog <br /> Pond Close. <br />
