AFCEE: Two pages of objections to the Amended Order of Conditions for the Quashnet Bogs was received. The Agent met with them and the Cranberry Subcommittee. The consensus of the Commission was that if AFCEEgrants to make { changes, they will have to cone back to the Commission. Peggy Fantozzi to have the lead role in this. Conservation Restriction: The restriction for Lancaster Fealty 'frust loops good. Ms Boretos stated it will be recorded at the registry of Deeds. she recommended-approval. This will be on a. site plan. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the conservation Restriction as printed. Unanimous Vote. Cape & Islands: Network meeting called for next Thursday, February from 1-2:30 p.m. Fees: Postal rates have increased as well as other expenses. The Agent recommended increasing fees by $1 o across the Board. A legs hearing will have to be held next Agenda. Gates: The Commission has been approached by Police officer John Reed who has taken an interest in herring issues. He is seeking funds for gates. He wants to do this for this upcoming season. The Herring Warden has funds for. one gate. He suggested submitting a Town Meeting Article for funds and pulling it if the Finance Committee gives us the money. We could take the funds out of the Conservation Fund and reimburse it from Town Meeting funds. The gates will cost $1500 each. The Commission agreed with the recommendation. MACC: A copy of a legal advertisement for modifying/revolving an order- of Conditions was distributed. To be discussed next meeting. Community Preservation Act Conference: To be held on 10 February in Worcester. The Agent will pass this on to the Land Trust Committee. k
