I February 2001
Page 2;
Ms Boretos stated this is -vista pruning and not related to this project.
She recommended approval as proposed and to issue an Enforcement
Order requiring plantings. This was very creative in that the stumps
were painted brown.
Mr. ,Johansen advised this has been filed with Board of Appeals.
Public comment: None
OTE: Motion made and seconded to issue an'Enforcement Order on
the illegal vista pruning. Unanimous Vote.
NOTE: Motion made and seconded to close and issue on the pier, ramp
and float. Unanimous Note.
HEARING CLOSED.
7:10 NEW SEIRY PROPERTIES, Golf Club, continued from
January 200 1. Lawrence Carr presenting.
Mr-. Sherman stated after discussions, the project was brought back,
away from the resource area. This should be held open as we did not
have the plans within five days.
Where was discussion ofwhether or not money may be owed on the fees
under the bylaw. To be resolved. ownership and access forms were
missing.
Mr. Sherman Mated the inland bank is not shown according to the 'Torn
Regs. There would be a disclaimer in the order to say if permitted,'this
time only, and they come back for other work, they will have to show
that.
Mr. Carr advised this clubhouse is just off the 9th green of the blue
course, the 18th fair-way ofthe green course. At the last meeting they had
flagged the wetland at the easterly end and the westerly side and at the
time, the proposal was for a bulkhead around 2/3-3/4's of the pond
eliminating the Bordering Vegetated Wetland in the area and enlarging it
as a pond. The Golf Course Architect took a hard look at it and as much
as he would life to have had the greens directly overlooking the water,
this scheme pulls back from the wetlands and none of the Bordering
Vegetated Wetland itself is affected. The greens are essentially in the
sane location as before arra the pond is not being, enl arge to cone up
