The Chairman recognized Bill Lewis, representing Mrs. Kopp, <br /> who provided plans and indicated the existing concrete bulkhead <br /> that has been licensed. He explained. Applicant is attempting to <br /> reinforce the existing wall which is cracked and which footings <br /> have completely eroded. <br /> In order to protect the resource area Applicant is proposing <br /> to install gabion baskets in an attempt to hold the wall in <br /> place, and to install filter fabric behind the wall in order to <br /> prevent sand from entering into the resource area. <br /> References were being made to the plan indicating the marsh <br /> area. It is expected that 90 tons of stone would be used. <br /> Nor. Sherman concurred that the wall is in need of attention <br /> and that basically the proposal is of mood design. However, <br /> recognizing that DEP has flagged the issue, he recommended this <br /> matter be continued until such time as the Conservation <br /> Commission has consulted with DEP/Marine Fisheries regarding any <br /> shellfish issues, prior to issuance. <br /> The Chairman inquired as to whether or not Coastal Zone <br /> Management should be contacted; Mr. Sherman responded it would <br /> not be necessary in this matter. <br /> There being no further Commission or public omrnent, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Motion having been duly made and seconded t <br /> continue the matter to March 15, 2001 at 7 :25 p.m. , at the <br /> request of Applicant, it was so voted unanimously. <br /> 3 -Lancaster Realty 'gust, for construction of a site <br /> family dwelling with deck, landscaping and sewage disposal system <br /> at 15 Aunt Jane' s Road, Assessor' s Map 11 , Block 395. <br /> Diane Boretos reported that Applicant has requested a <br /> continuance to March 15, 2001 at 7 : 10 p.m. <br /> MOTION: Carol. Moore made a Motion to continue this matter <br /> to March 15, 2001 at 7: 10 1 p.m. at the request of the Applicant; <br /> which Motion was duly seconded and so grated unanimously. <br /> Post Hearing Agenda <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. Mr. Sherman reported the Public Hearing, Cape Cod <br /> Commission Jurisdictional Determination - New seabury has been <br /> postponed for the purpose of discussion. <br /> Diane Brets reported said discussion has been scheduled <br /> for March 6th at 1: 00 p.m. with Nater Resource/Nater District. <br />
