i <br /> Having been recognized by the Chairman, a representative for <br /> the Applicant explained the reason this natter had been continued <br /> was to provide an opportunity for approval of the engineering <br /> plans by the Building Department and to obtain additional <br /> information regarding vegetation below/between the walls and the <br /> wetland area. <br /> Said representative provided green cards, verification of <br /> the payment of required fees, and proceeded to address the issue <br /> of treatment of the waste area. References were being made to <br /> the plan. <br /> Nor. Sherman stated it is his understanding that the areas <br /> disturbed during construction are to be seeded with wild grass <br /> seed mix, with the condition that it be maintained at a height of <br /> eighteen inches and mowed only during the off season (November <br /> through March) . <br /> The representative stated the area is to be identified as <br /> environmentally sensitive, which would preclude golfers from <br /> searching the area. <br /> Mr.. Sherman recommended approval with the above mentioned <br /> changes. <br /> There being no further Commission or public comment, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Carol Moore made a lotion to Close and Issue 4 <br /> subject to the irmnediate seeding and/or blanketing of any/all <br /> disturbed areas during construction, that the grass height be <br /> maintained at eighteen inches, and that mowing be allowed only <br /> during the off season (November through March) ; which motion was <br /> duly seconded and so voted unanimously. <br /> 7 .-55-David Chapman, for a proposed funeral home, parking <br /> area, Title v septic system and utility services at 74 Algonquin <br /> Avenue, Assessor' s Neap 72, Blocks 114 and 115 . <br /> The Chairman recognized Dave Sanici., Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering, who stated the property is located at the <br /> intersection of Route 151 and Algonquin Avenue. References were <br /> being made to the plan indicating an isolated wetland running <br /> along Route 151, the work limit line to the wetlands, and the <br /> area which will remain in its natural. state. A proposal was <br /> made to revegetate along the front of the building. A state <br /> permit will be required for the septic system, a tight tank being <br /> required, and all preliminary approvals having been received, as <br /> well as a contract for pumping the tank. <br /> Mr. Sanicki provided a landscape pian, indicating the <br /> wetland area, buffer strap, which are to be outlined with <br /> a bates, and a planting plan around the entire site were <br /> i <br />
