As the first order of business he addressed:
Non-Hearing Agenda
Public Discussion
Martha Twombley - Cape Cod Commission
Ms . Twombley introduced herself as the Planner for the New
Seabury Jurisdictional Determination Project. She updated the
Commission on this matter and requested a further extension.
Ms . Twombley stated the Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, May
15, 2001 will go forward in an attempt to present the project as
currently proposed and to obtain public feedback, at which time
the Hearing will be closed. New Seabury is required by the
Secretary/EOEA to file a supplemental final environmental impact
report .
She. then requested a nine (9) month extension period in
order to provide New Seabury the time required to complete
said report; as soon as the report is submitted, it will be
reviewed, and process will be resumed by scheduling a new
Hearing. However, MEPA has not imposed a deadline for filing
the report.
New Seabury is unable to move forward until such time as
MEPA review has been completed and certified. At this point they
would be allowed to file permit requests .
Ms .
