from June 21., 2001. NOI <br /> Diane Boretos reported Applicant has requested a continuance <br /> to July 26, 2001, at 7 . 15 p.m. due to misadvertisement of <br /> property leap and Block. Abutter~ r notiflcatlon will be made. <br /> MOTION: Carole Moore made a Motion to continue the Hearing <br /> In this matter to July 26, 2001 at 7 : 15 p.m. , at Applicant ' s <br /> request; which Motion was seconded by Ralph Shaw and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> . Request for Certificate of Compliance S 43-1830 - Mr. <br /> Sherman reported a permit had been issued to demolish an existing <br /> dwelling, rebuild a new house and driveway. The douse and <br /> driveway have been done correctly- the compensatory r'evegetation <br /> has not been completed to satisfaction. Said work should have <br /> encompassed a. considerably larger area, there are bare spots <br /> where beneficial plantings could be placed, no cedars have been <br /> planted. what has been done does not constitute a naturally <br /> vegetated buffer strip. <br /> Ir. Sherman has advised the Certificate of compliance cannot <br /> be issued until such time as there has been a meeting with him to <br /> discuss the proper completion of revegetation. <br /> . State Ethics Commission/Conflict of Interest Laws .for <br /> Conservation Commissions - Mr. Sherman provided copies to <br /> everyone for reference. <br /> 7 : 0 John J. York, 150 Captains Row, to remove existing <br /> railroad tie walls and replace with field stone walls and steps, <br /> Assessors Map 96, Block 25 . <br /> John Johansen stepped down from this Hearing. <br /> The Chairman recognized Mr. York, who stated he owns the <br /> property at 150 Captain' s Row, and provided pictures for <br /> commission review. The original railroad ties are deteriorating. <br /> Applicant proposes to use field stone on the bottom, up one <br /> side, and across the top as a means to hold back the soil. . <br /> Mr. Sherman verified said proprty is in need of repair; if <br /> stabilization measures are not taken the bank will be lost; <br /> thereby recommending approval of the project. <br /> There being no commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOT 1 Michael Talbot made a Motion to Close and Issue; <br /> which lotion was seconded by Carole Moore and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> -6- <br />
