The Chairman addressed the issue of the possibility of <br /> the addition being constructed on the other side of the property, <br /> and of Applicant ' s reluctance to obstruct the view. He i <br /> inclined to deny the reprised plan stating that anyone .interested <br /> in preserving waquoit Bay would eliminate all lawn areas. <br /> Mr. DiGregorio noted that construction of the addition to <br /> the other side of the property as proposed by the Chairman would <br /> result in the loss of two sizeable trees (Cherry) . <br /> Elliot Rosenber• did not comment as he was not present at <br /> the first Hearing. <br /> John Johansen, Ralph Shaw, and Carole Moore stated they are <br /> in favor or accepting the revised plan. <br /> There being no further Commission or public comment, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> TION: John Johansen made a lotion to Close and Issue; <br /> which motion was seconded by Carole Moore and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 7-45 i l lowbend - ANRAD, a continuance from May 10, o o 1. <br /> The chairman recognized Mr. DiGregorio, Horsley & Witten, Inc. , <br /> representing the Applicant. <br /> NOTE: Attorney Mc lhinney was present. <br /> Slide presentation/information - Quaker Run, Golf Course, <br /> Shoestring Bay. " <br /> Reference Case - An adjudicatory case from DEP earlier this <br /> year, Freezer Point-Barnstable. <br /> Mr. 3 iGFre orio. made reference to Riverfront Regulations, <br /> commenting on their complexity. DEP has established certain <br /> criteria to determine tidally dominated, tidally influenced, <br /> riverfront/fresh water. <br /> With reference to Quaker Run, salinity, tidal amplitude, <br /> and vegetated changes have factored into determination of the <br /> i <br /> riverfront/fresh water influence from the tidally dominated area. <br /> Data: Salinity tides during a one 1 month period.
