i <br /> i <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> i <br /> September 20, 2001 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference Poor #3, Mashpee Town Hall, 1 <br /> Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 7 : 00 p.m. on <br /> Thursday, September 20, 2001. Commissioner Ralph Shaw presided. <br /> Present: John Johansen, Clerk; Carole Moore; Ralph Shaw; <br /> and Michael Talbot . <br /> Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent. <br /> Mr. Shaw declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. As the first order of business he addressed: <br /> Public Conment -- Mike e Petra, BSC Group, repres titin <br /> St . Pierre, Monomoscoy load, Administrative Review. <br /> Mr. Petra reported Applicant is requesting certain changes <br /> be approved, as required by the Board. of Health. There are no <br /> changes to the footprint. <br /> Mr. Sherman reported that both he and the Assistant <br /> Conservation Agent recommend approval . <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, Mr. Shaw <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Carole Moore made a Motion to approve; which Motion <br /> was seconded by Michael Talbot and so voted. unanimously. <br /> (Mr. Petra inquired as to whether or not Applicant would be <br /> allowed to construct a staircase within the work limit, located <br /> within an existing path which leads from the vegetated wetland to <br /> the marsh. Mr. Sherman advised him to submit said request as <br /> shown on the approved plan to his attention. ) <br /> 7 : 00 Barbara T. Nugent for Determination of Applicability on <br /> proposed landscape work at 39 Sandy Way, Assessors Map 9 , Bloch <br /> 2 . <br /> Mr. Shaw recognized Applicant, who requested permission- to <br /> clear out her backyard which has become overgrown. she is unable <br /> to walk across the yard, and to open a bathroom door due to the <br /> growth of the bushes. <br /> John Johansen spoke to this matter stating he advised <br /> Applicant to file ars RDA. References were being rade to the plan <br /> indicating the location of pine barrens and the notation made <br /> regarding distance of "approximately 10 to 15 feet" . <br />
