Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> November 1, 2001 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference ROOM #3, Mashpee mown Hall, 16 <br /> Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6 ;45 p.m. on <br /> Thursday, November 1, 2001. The Vice Chairman, Elliot Rosenberg, <br /> presided. <br /> Commissioners present : John Fitzsimmons (6: 53 p.m. ) ; <br /> Stephanie Jones, Associate Member; Carole Moore; Leonard Pinaud* <br /> Elliot Rosenberg, Vice Chairman; Ralph Shaw; and Michael Talbot. <br /> Also present-, Robert Sherman, Conservation ion gent; and Diane <br /> Boretos, Assistant Conservation Agent . <br /> The Vice Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called <br /> the Meeting to order. AS the first order of business he opened <br /> the Regulation Hearing - Waiver of Requirements Ch. 172, 7A. (3) <br /> The Commissioners having been prodded with copies, and the <br /> opportunity to review; the Vice Chairman asked for comment. <br /> There being none, he entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Carole Moore made a Motion to approve the waiver of <br /> Requirements s Ch. 172, 7,A which will in turn become the next <br /> sequential numnbered. Regulation; which Motion was seconded by <br /> Michael. Talbot and so voted unanimously. <br /> 6:55 Public Comment - The vice Chairman opened the Hearing, <br /> noting however there were no members of the public present . <br /> (The Chairman, John Fitzsimmons, arrived at the Meeting at <br /> this point 6 : 55 p.m. The Vice Chairman continued to preside <br /> throughout the Meeting. ) <br /> Non-Hearing ,Agenda - old Business <br /> 1. Drainage 136 Fells Pond Road - Dune B retos- informed <br /> the Commission of an ongoing situation at this address with <br /> reference to a drainage easement . The builder discovered the � <br /> drainage pipe was not properly located, he moved it, and was � <br /> hien required by the Conservation Commission to install catch <br /> basins. Shortly thereafter a serious erosion problem developed <br /> at the site due to ether drainage/runoff into said catch basins . <br /> There exists serious water problems in the garage. A number <br /> of remedies have been attempted to correct the problem, nothing <br /> has been successful . <br />
