Sherman clarified the new proposed septic system will <br /> be a denitrification system. Having reviewed the calculations, <br /> there remains to be a net increase in nitrogen. <br /> Ms . wilson disagreed, stating calculations on the existing <br /> conditions comes out to 6 . 71 parts per million. <br /> There was disagreement between Mr. Sherman and Ms . Wilson; . <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested they discuss/review the natter further. <br /> ms . wil son factored five bedrooms, one i with <br /> denitrification, with no lawn fertilizer. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the Commission would not accept or permit <br /> "no lawn fertilizer" if there is existing lawn on the property, <br /> as the situation would be impossible to monitor. <br /> Mr. Sherman made a statement for the Record: it would <br /> simplify the process if Applicant would agree to allow <br /> Conservation to inspect the number of bedrooms; and to install a i <br /> denitrification system for the entire project. The issue of <br /> number of bedrooms is a concern for the Commission both under the <br /> Act and -law regarding compliance with Title V. <br /> m . wilsn stated there have been delays in scheduling an <br /> appointment with the Assessors to make a bedroom inspection. <br /> Mr.. Sherman further stated for the Record: Under Chapter <br /> 1721 an Application can be denied when Applicant fails to meet <br /> the requirements by failure to submit necessary information in <br /> plans, as per the Provisions of Section 7B of Chapter 172 and <br /> failure to meet the Performance Standards of Regulation 30C4 <br /> in particular. And that Regulation indicates the use of <br /> calcula't.ion sheets prepared by the commis.sion based upon the <br /> Cape Cod Commission formula. <br /> r. Sherman stated an accurate bedroom count is vital for <br /> preparation of calculation- sheets . <br /> ms Wilson noted the Board of Health has approved -a <br /> Certificate of compliance for the septic system; the Building <br /> Inspector has approved an occupancy Certificate. <br /> Mr. Sherman reported the Building Inspector has stated he <br /> did not perform a complete inspection of the house, and has not <br /> established the exact number of bedrooms . <br /> The Chairman determined the Commission is unable to move <br /> forward in this matter until unless an accurate number of <br /> bedrooms is established.
