Mr. Sherman requested a vote to approve Pauline <br /> Beaulieu' s attendance at the MACC Conference. <br /> MOT_IoN# Michael Talbot made a Motion to approve Ms. <br /> eaulieu' s registration to the M CC Conference; which Motion was <br /> seconded by Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. <br /> 7 : 30 Mashpee DPW for Determination of Applicability for <br /> resurfacing areas of Great Neck Road North, Assessors Maps 36, <br /> 44t 45 and 52 . <br /> The Chairman recognized Greg Taylor, ]director of Public <br /> Works, who explained the proposed project, repaving of Great <br /> Neck Road North from Lowell Road to Town Hall. Request is being <br /> made for the width and sidewalk areas of the road. <br /> Ms . Boretos recommended a Negative III Determination. <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a Motion for Negative III <br /> Determination; which Motion was seconded by John Johansen and so <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> Old Business - Continued. <br /> . The Chairman inquired as to the status of the Sheehan <br /> monitoring wells/Title V system. <br /> Mr. Sherman explained he is awaiting the outcome of the <br /> legal case. <br /> New Business <br /> 1. Michael Talbot suggested the Conservation Land Sub- <br /> Committee <br /> u -Committee be revived to address conservation issues and utilize <br /> the land. Possibilities include a community garden, reclaim or <br /> grow native plants. He volunteered to Chair the Committee. <br /> There was some Commission concern regarding the Conservation <br /> Agent/Assistant Agent ' s expectations of contribution. Ms. <br /> oretos informed the Commission she should denote one 1 day of <br /> the work week to Conservation Land projects (which usually is not <br /> the case) . She expressed support for this suggestion stating <br /> Commission Members and Community Volunteers become involved. <br /> . <br /> The DPW Director informed the Commission of an existing <br /> pine tree nursery planted approximately eight gears ago, <br /> available for Conservation use. <br /> Stephanie Jones volunteered to participate; the Commission <br /> agreed to allow Mr. Talbot to create and present a Program for <br /> Commission approval . - - <br />
