Motion made; -seconded: and unanimously carried to approve two trails at Jehu Pond
and Lopez property as proposed by Renee and Tom Fuula.
Hearing Agenda
7:00 P.m. Will vbend c/o shoestring Bay LLC, 3 Mute Swan Circle (cont. from
7/25102 . Applicant requested a continuance to September 5 at 7:15 p.m.
Motion made; seconded; and unanimously carried to grant continuance to September
at :15 p.m. as requested by the Applicant.
7:05 p.m. Mary Marsters, 94 Lakewood Dave. Diane Boretos reported that the
applicant put up a roof over their existing patio that was at the top of the slope on
v akeby Pond. Diane recommended a Negative 3 Determination.
Since Mr. Shaw is familiar with Mr. Marsters} Jack asked if Mr. Marsters had any
objection to Mr. Shaw casting a vote on this. Mr. Marsters said no.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried for a Negative 3 Determination.
7:10 p.m. Nancy F rr lly, 31 Starboard Ln., 25 Wading Place and Wading Place fid.
(cont . from 7125102)
Norman Hayes presented proposal. At our last meeting there was concern about two
basic things. 1 Concrete that was going to be used to merge the Farrelly--prepared
sea wall to the sea wall of Mr. Felly. The new plan shows that the concrete has been
removed, and in its place they will be filling the shores with 10-20 ft. stumps.
2 There was also some concern about storm water drainage coring down over this
bank to the point that a couple of the stones have actually been dislodged from the
existing see wail that had been prepared back in 1997. This Commission wanted thea
to take a look at storm water drainage and what they could possibly do. This turned out
to be a very difficult situation, but they finally found it, and by regulation they had to
stay 25 ft. from it in order to install a drainage system.
The storm.water drainage goes into a dry well center piped into the ground and he
assumes it goes into a catch basin because it certainly doesn't come up. So they can
design a basic manhole for the storm water drainage to go into the " PBC pipe, which
has about 1 112 f#. of stone on each side of it, located above the concrete sluiceway.
Effectively, all the concrete that was going to be put in to merge this together has been
removed and replaced Frith 25 or 100 ft. chink stone in and around other stones.
They've put in the storm water drainage system that this Commission wanted therm to
evaluate, and submitted to Diane documentation that the beach nourishment that
they're proposing will be an annual event.
