7:20 p.m.. Constance Lally Raymond n earnari , 387 I lonomosco r Fid. (Title septic system, new pier, ramp and float, and vista pruning) Ed Pesce represented applicants. A misunderstanding re the vista pruning was cleared up. Ed had the understanding that they could request a 25 f. vista pruning off to one side of the proposed house in the area where applicants had done some unauthorized pruning last spring. ,hack said that vista pruning is normally allowed to provide view of 25% of the shore line. In this case} that amount of view already exists, so the Commission cannot authorize vista pruning in any additional area. Elliot moved that we close subject to receiving notification from the applicant that a r reference to vista pruning is deleted from the application. Motion made; seconded; and unanimously carried to approve a Title V septic sister , and a new pier, ramp and float, subject to receiving notification from the applicant that any reference to vista pruning is deleted from the application. 7:25 p.m. Merilee Juliano I eCarvalho, 141 Timberlane Dr. (removal of two large trees, pruning of oak tree and vista pruning) John vest, the future owner of the property as of 8/30/02, presented. Re request for vista pruning, Jack stated that they already had a view of the pond as a result of trees being cleared for a path to the pond. Mr. west said this corridor provided a view from the bedroom, but not from the patio. A compromise was reached to allow clearing for a new 20 ft. view from the patio. Motion made; seconded, and unanimously approved to remove two lame trees, prune an oak gree and grant a clearing for a new 20 ft. vier. 7:30 p.m. Popponesset Beach Association, Inc., Popponesset Beach (one mile beach raki ng Lee Wischer, Woods Hole Group, represented the Popponesset Beach Association to obtain a permit to remove the Brack from their beach. The Association's previous permit for same expired this year, and by the time thOy found out it had expired and the information trickled down to the homeowners, notice of violation had been issued. Applicant is requesting permission to reinstate a permit to remove the brach. Historically the Association has removed heavy Brack either by hand or by machine. Light brck has been raked back into the tidal area and not removed from the system, so was redeposited somewhere else as potential habitat. The filing asks to be allowed to remove the brack above knee-high water and includes some special conditions modeled on the New seabury order of conditions that this Commission has approved. i 1
