A misunderstanding re the vista pruning was <br /> cleared up. Ed had the understanding that they could request a 25 f. vista pruning off <br /> to one side of the proposed house in the area where applicants had done some <br /> unauthorized pruning last spring. ,hack said that vista pruning is normally allowed to <br /> provide view of 25% of the shore line. Re request for <br /> vista pruning, Jack stated that they already had a view of the pond as a result of trees <br /> being cleared for a path to the pond. Mr. west said this corridor provided a view from <br /> the bedroom, but not from the patio. A compromise was reached to allow clearing for a <br /> new 20 ft. view from the patio. <br /> Motion made; seconded, and unanimously approved to remove two lame trees, prune <br /> an oak gree and grant a clearing for a new 20 ft. vier. <br /> 7:30 p.m. Popponesset Beach Association, Inc., Popponesset Beach (one mile <br /> beach raki ng <br /> Lee Wischer, Woods Hole Group, represented the Popponesset Beach Association to <br /> obtain a permit to remove the Brack from their beach. The Association's previous <br /> permit for same expired this year, and by the time thOy found out it had expired and the <br /> information trickled down to the homeowners, notice of violation had been issued. <br /> Applicant is requesting permission to reinstate a permit to remove the brach. <br /> Historically the Association has removed heavy Brack either by hand or by machine. <br /> Light brck has been raked back into the tidal area and not removed from the system, <br /> so was redeposited somewhere else as potential habitat. <br /> The filing asks to be allowed to remove the brack above knee-high water and includes <br /> some special conditions modeled on the New seabury order of conditions that this <br /> Commission has approved. <br /> i <br /> 1 <br />
