5 <br /> MASH EE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes f January 2, 2003 <br /> Public Tearing <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Froom <br /> Commissioner present: Jack Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Cass Costa, <br /> Stephanie Jones, Leonard Pinaud, Michael Talbot. <br /> Staff present: fort Sherman, Agent; Frances'Wise, Board secretary <br /> Jack Fitzsimmons, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. and welcomed <br /> Cass Costa as a new member. <br /> Public Comment: <br /> 1. Eliza cox, Attorney at [Nutter, l lcclennen & Fish LLP, represented Mr. Reilly who i <br /> offering a piece of land to the Town of Mashpee. she stated that he previously <br /> appeared before the cape cod commission in December 2001 to build a storage <br /> warehouse facility on Route 130, and as part of that decision he has to provide 65% of <br /> that acreage as open space. <br /> Bob said Tom Fudala has been working on this and all they are waiting for is a nod <br /> from Town Counsel that the language is in its final correct fora, and he recommended <br /> that the members Vote to accept the gift pending Town Counsel's final approval. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to accept the gift of this parcel of <br /> land from Mr. Reilly, pending Town Counsel's final approval of the language of the <br /> deed. <br /> 2. Bob said we should also vote to accept a gift of land from a party represented by <br /> Kevin Kirrane, who is working on the final language of the deed for exactly the same <br /> type of situation as above. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to accept this gift of a parcel of lend, <br /> pending Town counsel's final approval of the language of the deed. <br /> Ikon-Hearinci Atenda <br /> Old Business <br /> 1.
