a <br /> k <br /> MASH ES CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of April 24, 2003 <br /> Public Hearing t <br /> Mashee Town Hail Meeting Room <br /> Commissioners present: Jack Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Cass Costa: <br /> Stephanie Jones, Leonard Pinaudt Ralph Shaw and Michael Talbot. <br /> Staff present: Robert Sherman, Agent; Frances Wise, Board secretary <br /> Jack Fitzsimmons, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. <br /> Public Hearing: Jack said the purpose of this hearing is to amend the regulations for <br /> Section 8, Chapter 172 of the Il ashpe Code (the Il ashpee Wetlands Protection <br /> Bylaw) to reprise the application fees. There was no comment from the public. <br /> Motion rade, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the amendment to revise <br /> the application fees schedule effective May I, 2003. <br /> Public Comment: Bob said Torn Smith was to attend this meeting to ask for relief from <br /> an Enforcement order which Bob issued, and he hasn't shown up (which is not the first <br /> time). Bob is telling him that he must remove a deck which was nearer permitted by us. <br /> Bob slowed that the work limits were to be about two feet beyond a wall, but the deck <br /> extends over the wall and has pilings. He recommended that the Commission <br /> authorize him to tell Cllr. smith that he must submit a plan for removal of the deck within <br /> one month, and this plan must have the approval of the building Inspector. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve Bob'srecommendation <br /> as stated above. <br /> Non-Hearinci Acienda <br /> Old Business: <br /> 1. Bob obtained signatures from the members for the Conservation Management <br /> Plans. <br /> 2. RFAA SE 3-215 . Bob said we issued an Order of Conditions for the demolition of <br /> a building at 1 Sunset Circle and the placement of a new house further back than the <br /> original house. When he did an on-site inspection, he saw that the demo Iition broke <br /> down an existing concrete block retaining gall, so it has to replaced, and this was not <br /> part of the work description. Dave Sanicki and the contractor are proposing a new <br /> concrete wall which has to be extended beyond the original. Bob thought we should <br /> not wait for an amended order (there's already a hay bale line and there's no erosion <br /> L <br />
