SH EE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of November 20, 2003 <br /> Public bearing <br /> Il ashpee Town Miall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Commissioners present: Jack Fitzsimmons, Chairman, Michael Talbot, Vice <br /> Chairman, Leonard Pinaud, clerk, and Cass costa. <br /> staff present. Robert Sherman, Agent, Frances Wise, Board Secretary <br /> Jack Fitzsimmons Chairman# called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> i <br /> Public Hearing: alone. <br /> Nora-Hearing Acgeda <br /> old Business: <br /> 1. conservation Restriction for four parcels along Great Neck Road and the Ilashpee <br /> Fiver. Bob said the Trustees of reservations are requesting us to designate these four <br /> parcels as land where no building will be allowed. We had tentatively agreed that this <br /> was a good idea. Town counsel has now completed their review of the paper work and <br /> is of the opinion that it is in proper form. Bob recommended an affirmative vote. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve Conservation Restriction <br /> for the four parcels as proposed by the Trustees of Reservations. <br /> 2. rFAA-SE 3-2220— 31 James circle. Bob said this is a request for an <br /> administrative approval for a minor changer and he recommended approval. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve this administrative <br /> approval. <br /> 3. F FAA-SE 3--2040— Shore Drive West. Bob said this involves a walkway down a <br /> coastal bank. He met with the applicant on site and he thinks they've arrived at an <br /> approved plan. They are now proposing an aluminum-hinged walkway over the dune} <br /> which will decrease any negative impact on the dune. The walkway will lie on sono <br /> tubes or restone slab at the end. It will have to have adequate space between the gads <br /> to allow sea grass to grow underneath it. Bob recommended approval pending receipt <br /> of a plan showing cross sectionals of the walkway, and giving the specs for the distance <br /> between the gads. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to not approve this administrative <br /> approval until vire receive a revised plan showing the cross sectionals and specs for the <br />
