Approval-of minutes for 11/20/03. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the above minutes. <br /> Hearing Agenda <br /> 7:00 purr., Paul sgaria, 108 Wading Place Road (shorten pier). David Sanicki <br /> represented the applicant and presented the new plan. Bob said he has heard no <br /> negative comments from the Harbormaster or the shellfish Warden, and the water is <br /> deep enough so there should not be any negative impacts. <br /> Frederick Viles, 21 Bright Coves Way, expressed concern regarding the displacement <br /> of the bottom soil when the piles are inserted. Bob said they are installed according to <br /> DEP's regulations. Mr. Miles said most docks are parallel to the shore, but this one is <br /> perpendicular and therefore more vulnerable to high winds breaking its chains and <br /> being set loose. Mr. Sanicki said the Harbormaster has approved it. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan. <br /> 7:05 .m., George Dubin, 31 Fiddler crab Lane (stairway, pier, ramp and float). Dave <br /> Sanicki represented the applicant and presented the plan. Bob said the mean low crater <br /> at the end of the boat is zero, meaning the boat sits in the mud. Bob showed photos <br /> that he took at the site that afternoon when it wasn't a moon tide. Perry Ellis told Bob <br /> that at mean low water there couldn't be more than 6" of water. Bob thinks the 2 ft. <br /> contours must be in error, and the only way this Commission would consider this dock is <br /> to get a second opinion under section 4 of ourby-law and get another engineering <br /> study of the water depths, which the applicant will have to pay for under the Act, Section <br /> 3G. Bob would only feel comfortable recommending this project if it is a dingy dock. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve a continuation to <br /> February 5th at 7:00 p.m., at the request of the applicant. <br /> 7:10 p.m., Edward Herbert, 147 Shore Drive (raze and construct new dwelling, utilities, <br /> Title V, retaining walls and landscaping). Dawe Sanicki represented the applicant. Bob <br /> described the plan and recommended approval pending his meeting with Dave at the <br /> 2 <br />
