7:15 p.m., Thomas Belekewicz, 53 Pickerel Cove Road (demolish and rebuild house, septic
system, well, pump, fill cesspool). Dave Sanicki represented the applicant and requested a
continuance.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to grant a continuance to December 2 at 7:30
p.m., at the request of the applicant.
7:20 p.m.,Dena Burns, 7 Cricket Way(install Title V septic with existing cesspool). Bob
recommended approval
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan.
7:25 p.m., Geoffrey Willis, 33 Elizabeth Island Road(tear down deck and replace with
sunroom). Mr. Willis was present. Bob described the plan and recommended approval.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan.
7:30 p.m.,Chance DiPlacido Trustee,98 Summersea Road(vista corridor, stone wall,patio,
driveways). Dave Sanicki represented the applicant and presented the plan. Bob requested a
cross-section drawing of the height of the wall so we know what it looks like.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan pending approval of a
cross-section drawing of the height of the wall.
7:35 p.m., Kenneth Litvack, 11 Taffrail Way(embankment stabilization, revegetation,
plantings, reposition landing, ramp and float). Dave Sanicki represented the applicant and
described the plan. Bob said he met with Mr. Sanicki at the site and said the lot has had several
owners and at least three previous filers, none of which ever carried out the directives, and he
appreciates the plantings proposed. Bob has no problem with the plan but there are two issues:
1)we will ask for a narrative for approval on the dock removal and 2) within six months or so we
will require an amended order to reflect the total lock basis versus terraces and small walls so
that none of them are problematical in terms of impacts on wetland areas. Mike requested that
Mr. Sanicki write on the plan the replacement of two types of plantings with Pennsylvania sedge
or something native and plugs rather than seeds in certain areas.
Donna Paparella, an abutter, expressed concern about the new dock, and Bob said that is not
under our jurisdiction, but the Board of Appeals. Mr. Sanicki said the Board of Appeals permit
is still valid. She then asked about the size of the boat. Bob said we will condition the size of
the boat to reflect the water depth, so it may be that the boat that the applicant wishes to have
now will not be permitted-- the size is not grand-fathered.
Bob said he would like to 1) check with the Building Inspector to ascertain if the applicant has to
go back to the Board of Appeals, and 2) get the exact water depths at the comers of the float so
we can condition the size of the boat.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve a continuance to December 2"d, at
7:35 p.m., at the request of the applicant.
3
