MASHPEE CONSERVATION.COMMISSION Minutes of June 28,'2007 Public Hearings Mapes Town Hall Meeting Room I Commissioners Present: Jack Fit sin pons(Clair),Ralph Shaw(Vice Chair), Len Pirmd, Jeff Cross, and Cass Costa Staff Present:-Drew McManus(Assistant Conservation Agent) Jack Fitzsimmons called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. Pre Hearing Items: 1. Request for Administrative Approval: SE 43-2472 12 Quinapen Ave. Govoni The agent described-the request for administrative approval from Cape and Islands Engineering to revise the septic plan. A Singulair Denite System is being added per request of ta Mashpee Board of Health. Plans were alp submitted shoving the new system. Motion made, seconded and nam'm usly carried to approve the adr im*strative request. . Shields Property. (Meetinghouse Realty 'Trust) The agent decr'bed the parcel (1.09 acres Map 45, Block that 's being offered for sale to the town for conservation purposes(asking price: $180,000). The agent informed the con 'ssiou that Torn Fudala Town Planner is looking into possibly switching parcels for another plat of land that borders the Mashpee River within the existing Lopez Conservation Area off Meetinghouse Road. Mr. Fudala will request assistance from the Self Help program to cove-part of the cost of the land purchase. The went requested the Conservation Com nussion's verbal approval for purchase of this parcel. Motion made, seconded and unan'uously carried to approve the purchase. . Lipnosky Family 'Trust The agent informed the Commission as to the deeding of 9.53 acres of open space as part of a.duster subdivision located off Notre Dame Road in Mashpee o Pimico Pond Road) to the Nashpee Conservation Com sion. The went requested signatures from the Concession to approve the deeding of this parcel. Commissioners signed the deed for approval. 4. Amencorps The agent informed the cornrnissin of a recent project completed by Arnericorps volunteers in the Mashpee River Woodlands. Frail work, pruning and general clean rip efforts were carried out by the Arneicorps volunteers and inspected.by the agent.
