After consulting with the <br /> Harbormaster, it was suggested that a fixed pier may be crushed in the ice causing debris and becoming a <br /> navigation hazard. The Agent stated that a narrative does <br /> not accompany the Notice of Intent. John Slavinsky also stated that they aro seeking a continuance <br /> because Mike Talbot, who is creating the landscaping plan, discovered the bank has invasive species and <br /> needs to be addressed. Mr. Cross expressed concern that abutters and an attome r are present for the <br /> hearing and no prior notice was given that this hearing would be continued. The Chair stated that the <br /> plans may change so they can not have the hearing. It was suggested that a possible resolution may be to <br /> suggest that out of town attendees contact the Conservation Department in advance of the hearing to <br /> check for a possible continuance. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried for a Continuance until 1214!08 at 7:12 pm. <br /> 7:12 Stephen Goulet, RDA.—216 Monomos y Road <br /> (Remove and replace existing shed within sane footprint) <br /> Stephen Goulet described the chicken coop as being in a state of disrepair and has been at the site since <br /> 1979. Mr. Goulet would like to replace the chicken coop with a shed on the same footprint. Currently the <br /> chicken coop is being used to store lawnmowers and boating equipment. The new structure will be level <br /> with the ground. The Conservation Agent has recommended use of sedimentation control during the <br /> process of tear don and building. The Agent also noted that the coastal bank located near the shed is in <br /> need of additional plantings to limit runoff into the water.
