[24,,04] Mx. Sleloff explains that the house is situated on ar steep slope that will require foundation- <br /> stabilization due to a discovered crack in the foundation. They are proposing helical piles that will <br /> be installed by hand and should be complete within three days. Agent McManus asks <br /> approximately hoer long these piles will last and Ms. Sieloff guesses that they could last possibly 50 <br /> years. Mr. Cook asks how big the holes are and Mr. sieloff(his. sieloff' husband) states <br /> approximately 8-10 JY gide in diameter. The patio will be a masonry patio a little hit smaller <br /> than the existing deck. They would like to square off the house in the back and bring out the front <br /> door area. There are two trees; one of which is dead and the ether is hanging over the house that <br /> they would like to remove. They will remove a chain link fence that goes around the entire house <br /> and will be including a small mitigation ation area in the rear corner of the property along with additional <br /> plantings in the front yard. Agent McManus informs Mr. Quinn that the entire property is within <br /> Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flag so a planting plan is required and also the specifies of the seed <br /> m ix for any proposed grass areas. Mr. Guinn states that the little strip in the front is the only grass <br /> on the entire property. Mr. Cook asks about a ' platform and Mr. Guinn states that they can build a <br /> wooden step right off the foundation onto the patio. Mr. Sweet states that thea are a let of open <br /> issues in regards to the landscaping and decking and suggests a continuance until a firm plan is <br /> submitted. Mr. Quinn is unsure of ghat else can be submitted and Mr. Sweet states that a planting <br /> plan or some type of plan for the areas of the removed basketball court and pool. Mr. Guinn <br /> presents a plan that the AFDC has-approved and Agent McManus questions why it,vias not <br /> submitted with the application. The Agent recommends a continuance and requests a more <br /> detailed narrative. <br /> Lotion made, seconded-and unanimously carried to continue to March'22, 2012 at 7:00pm <br />
