Jack Vaccaro from Vaccaro Environmental explains that this project was discussed a couple of
weeks ago and, at that time, the main concern was on the proposed boardwalk. The homeowner
has agreed to eliminate a portion of it. Mr. Vaccaro met with Agent McManus at the site to discuss
small area in particular that-gets soggy during different points of the tide cycle and is now
proposing a very low profile structure that will provide support over that section of the marsh. It
would be approximately 1 " above the marsh profile and ramped on both ends which would result in
a 12' section that expands the ditch with 12' ramps on both sides for a total of 3 ', Mr. Sweet
comments that the new dock looks like it is crossing into the neighbor's property. Mr. Vaccaro
states that it may require some form of sign off from the homeowner.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to Close and Issue
7:15 Je I IyB o n (374 M o n om os coy toad) 96' Fence & 0 rnamental plantings - RDA
Resource Area* LSCSF, Buffer Zone to Salt Marsh
Material submitted Proposed Landscape Changes 4126111 Term Marts
John Procaccino, the homeowner, explains that they would like to finish the landscaping with a post
and rail fence with some plantings along the fence.
