Ills. Pletcher discussed the meeting that took place
with Mr. Bonvie and Southport last week. It seemed to go well, however, one is never
sure what lies beneath 11r. Bonvie's statements and promises. Performance bonds were
discussed, but only tied to the road issue and nothing else. Lynn Berlin also spoke to the
Board with similar comments. She mentioned to the Board that the investments made b
the.Southport residents should he recognized as their `final" investments for their futures.
Lawrence Shuho v spore with reference to comments that "leaked" out of the meeting
with the ZBA and Planning Board last week. Mr. Regan informed Mr. Shuhow that these `comments and/or gossip"'were
without merit and should he construed as hearsay. Mr: Nelson also informed the
Southport residents that at the last two meetings, the ZBA has bumped their business in
front of the Agenda so that so many people did not have to wait all night. However, that
is not fair to other members of the community that are present for their own hearings.
Any further Southport business will be put at the end of'the hearing list along with "other
business".
