Buckingham <br /> Member absent: Charles H. Lawrence, in-patient Palmouth Hospital <br /> CFB: THIS TAPE Is NOT O� BECOME PART of THE MEETING, IT Is MERELY <br /> FOR THE. USE of THE CLERK IN PREPARING THE MINUTES. <br /> 1 , warrants signed. <br /> . Discussion -held on results of water analysis conducted by DEQE <br /> in the Landfill area, comparisons to test done. by County. CFB made <br /> mention of the fact. DE E will work with a hydro gebl.o dist selected <br /> by the Town to define the plume,, they would prefer to work directly <br /> with that person or firm rather than with the Board of Health. <br /> The Executive Secretary had requested of Weston & Samps-on that they <br /> take on the scope of the work in the Landfill area. Mr. Wilson as- <br /> ked if these chemicals -as found could have come from the Landfill.. <br /> It is assumed that those volatile found are eompatable with Land- <br /> fills. <br /> and- <br /> fills. The Agent commented that the state had called the. office <br /> today to say that they had the deed for suerwood and it was to be <br /> sent to the A for interpretation, (this was in reply to a question <br /> by CFB as to whether surerwood would have to hook up to gravel packed <br /> well . <br /> There was a discussion re: release of the County readings of <br /> summerwood, CFB stated that he and Exec sec discussed the matter <br /> and the decision reached was that only Paces l & 6 should be re- <br /> leased, and, that only residents of concerned building would be <br /> able to get readings. <br /> 3 . Copy of ltr, from DE, E to Dufresne--Henry re : subsurface sewa e <br /> Disposal, Conceptual Approval for Proposed wastewater Treatment <br /> Facility at Fields Point. CFB noted that in accordance with the <br /> Town By-Law the wastewater must be returned to the ground in drink- <br /> able quality. <br /> . Copy of ltr. , Comm of Mass re: Draft of EIR for Pine Hill Es- <br /> tates, The EIR adequately and properly complies, however, questions <br /> were raised in comments received. To wit: 1 groundwater contour reap <br /> should be submitted of the area of the disposal site 2 two di- <br /> mensional flow net or finite difference model should be employed to <br /> determine the direction and -rate of flow away from leaching and the <br /> potential for breakout (3) the simple mass balance model used to <br /> determine water quality effects is appropriate, but should be amend- <br /> ed based on results of the refined groundwater flow modeling and <br /> current background concentrations of nitrates. <br /> . Memo from Exec Sec re: Used town equipment out to bid. NOTED <br /> . Results of water analysis for Highwood water. one test at Sipps <br /> Road not. approved. <br /> NOTED <br /> 7 . CFB mentioned -that he had spoken to Chief Frye re: water at the <br /> Municipal Complex, it was said thatt there are a minimum of 32 persons <br /> employed or users of Police building. <br /> 8 . Plan for up-date for Store, Jeep Place. BOARD REQUESTS UE THAT DIS- <br /> TANCEs BE SHOWN FROM ABUTTERS SYSTEMS <br />
