Di l ggio citing the problems with loads from BFI asked for clarification of what <br /> cou 1 d.be brought in q ust i on i n dunnage, newspaper and demolition materials. He <br /> elaborated on the arnount of loose paper and large quantity of cardboard not com- <br /> pacted). <br /> BOARD MMERS SUGGESTED TO MR. MMU THAT THERE SHOULD BE STRICTER CONTROL WITH <br /> HIS CLIENTS, CARDBOARD CARTONS SHOULD BE FLATTENED AND RAPER PLACED IN PLASTIC <br /> BAGS, AND PERHAPS DU STERE BEING KEPT LOCKED SO THAT INDIVIDUALS WOULD NOT <br /> BE USING THOM FOR DEPOSIT OF HOUSEHOLD TRASH, RATHER THAN TAKING IT TO ' THE <br /> LANDFILL. <br /> b. Mr. Di 1aggio expressed his dissatisfaction with the newspaper article (Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, January 21, 1 987 which resulted from the attendance at.-that meeting <br /> of a reporter from that newspaper and her interpretation of proceedings. BUCKINGHAM STATED THAT YOU HAD TO READ THE ARTICLE AND THAT IS NOT WHAT IT <br /> SAID, IT STATED THAT THE BOARD HAD THE RIOT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUvLSTANCES, BUT <br /> IT DID NOT SAIF THAT THE BOARD WAS (WERE). <br /> Mr. D iFagg i o cited pants of the article that stated he did not fulfill parts <br /> of his contract and that he would have to pay for loam and clay substance com- <br /> i ng in to the dump. <br /> THE CHAIR SAID HE SORT OF TO0< HIIvBRAGE TO THAT PORTION OF THE ARTICLE, I <br /> THAT IT SURE AS HELL DIDN'T SOUND LIKE WHAT HAD TRANSPIRED HERE LAST WEEK, <br /> , <br /> AND THAT HE'THOUGHT IT SHOULD GO ON RECORD THAT IT WAS NOT A VERBATIM OF THE <br /> CONVERSATION HELD. <br /> Diaggio stated, 'that someone got itland Mr. Buckingham has been quoted as the <br /> one that they interviewed. <br /> THE CHAIR ABED MR. BUCKINGHAM IF THEY INTERVIEWED HINT AFTER THE MEETING AND HE <br /> REPLIED "YOU WERE R I CHT HERE.F" <br /> Nor. Dila g <br /> gg i o said he-had the cor�tratua l agreement wherein it calledor clay <br /> 12" and loam 411 and these materials shall have been previously stockpiled at <br /> the site for final fill p 1 aceent, and he, having read this took it that he <br /> would not have to pay for these materials, In addition, the daily cover shall <br /> be naturally occurring sand at the site, which is what he is using and they <br /> are campa i n i ng a unt. <br />
