Costa <br /> THE PURPOSE OF THIS TAPE IF FOR THE USE OF THE CLERK IN TRANSCRIBING THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING AND <br /> IS NOT TO BE CNSI DFS A PART OF THE MEETING. <br /> Minutes of the meeting of 5/11/87 were requested by Mr. Costa to be corrected to reflect that in the <br /> nomination of Off i cerf the-Board, they should read: Mr. Buckingham requested nominations for. Vice <br /> Chai ren and Mr. Costa offered the nage of Mr. Wilson and this was seconded by Mr. Buckingham, With <br /> the pry i so that the correct i ori is made accordingly Mr. Costa rrt i ned that these m i mutes be accep- <br /> ted with a second from Mr. Wilson. SO CARRIED. <br /> Minutes of 18187 meeting, motion by W. Costa to accept as written, second by W. Wilson. CARRRIED. <br /> 1. Warrants signed. <br /> . THE AGENT DOTED THAT SHE HAD HDW THAT MR. <br /> VIRGILIO HAD BEEN TO THE SELECTMEN CffLAINING ABOUT THE TRASH BEING DEED ON THE ROADS DISE TO THE <br /> NEW REGULATIONS (THESE ARE NOT NEW, THEY HAVE BEEN RE-TYPED ONLY SO THAT THE PUBLIC WOULD HAVE A <br /> BETTER UNDERSTANDING). THE CHAIR THEN ABED IF HE COLD REVIEW BECAUSE OF THE COMMENTS THAT SEEM <br /> TO COME OUT OF THE SELECTMENS OFFICE, THAT WE HAVE NEMER-ACCEPTED DEMOLITION AND THAT 'WE' WERE <br /> QUIRIED AS TO WHAT 'DEMOLITION' WAS AND 'WE' REQUESTED OF TOWN COUNSEL THAT HE M IN WITH THE <br /> PROPER DEFINITION OF IDMLITION AND DUNNAGE', TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THE TWO; WE INCORPORATED <br /> AS OF JANUARY 1,.WHAT WAS TO BE CONSIDERED DMLITION AND DUNNAGE AND WHAT WAS TO BE-ACCEPTED AT <br /> THE LANDFILL, IT WAS NOT ANYTHING NEW TO THE LANDFILL REC4JLATIONS. AT THE TIME WE WERE DISCUSSING <br /> THAT MR. DIMAGGIO CAME IN AND SAID THAT HE COULD NOT DISPOSE OF THE METAL PILE BECAUSE IT WAS COS- <br /> TING HIM MONEY TO SEND AWAY. AND, AT THAT TIME IT WAS DISCUSSED WITH HIM A "FEE SCHEDULE", DIMAGGIO <br /> PROPOSED A FEE SCHEDULE; THEY SEBU REASONABLE TO THE BOARD, AND, WE TOLD HIM HE COULD SET THAT, <br /> PROVIDING THAT HE KEPT RECORDS AND THAT HE DISPOSED OF THE METAL PILE PROPERLY AND PROMPTLY. AT <br /> THE SAME TIME HE SAID THAT UNDER ANY CONSIDERATION HE HAD TO PROVIDE THE FELLOW THAT WAS TAKING THE <br /> PILE AWAIT TWO CAR CARCASSES, HE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THOSE VEHICLES THERE, THEY WERE TO BE <br /> PICKED UP THE SAME TIME OF THE METAL PILE,, WE REC I EV ED A CMP LAI NT ABOUT THAT,AND WE TOOK CARE OF <br /> IT WITH A LET R TO MR. DIMAGGIO AND NOTICE TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AS TO WHAT OUR THOUGHTS WERE <br /> ON THE SUBJECT. AT THE SAME TIME OF THE DEMOLITION CLARIFICATION WE ALSO PDT IN THAT WE WOULD <br /> NOT TAKE DEPOSITS OF LARGE TREE LIMBS, BRUSH OR WHATEVER, THAT WE WOULD ACCEPT CHIPPED LOADS. <br /> THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED ,TO HAVE MR. DIMAGGIO IN AT THE NEXT MEETING WITH HIS COLLECTIONRE- <br /> CEIPTS AND A REVUE OF THIS ENTIRE SUBJECT. ,.A LETTER WILL CSD TO HIM WITH THE ENCLOSURES OF THE <br /> WRITTEN CITIZENRY COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY THIS BOARD. <br /> 3. COSTA TO SOLICIT INFORMATION FROM GARY FOR AVENUES TO COLLECT AND DISPOSE OF <br /> ITEMS SUCH AS OILS, PAINT, VARNISH ETC. AND BATTERIES. THE AUNT WILL CALL GARY AND DISCUSS THE <br /> POSSIBILITIES OF A SOURCE OF DISPOSAL. <br /> . Meru, meting schedule, Johns Pond Park Corrmittee. NOTED. <br /> . THE CHAIR <br /> ADV I SED THAT THIS MD0 RELATED TO PART OF THE INVOLVEMENT OF LAST WEDNESDAY MEETING WITIS THE SE- <br /> LECTMEN AND AT THAT TIME THE SELECTMEN WERE PASSING ON TO TOWN COUNSEL FOR ADVICE AS TO THE EASIEST <br /> AND QUICKEST WAY TO IIPLEMENT AT LEAST A PRO TEM SEWER C"I SIGN. THE ADVICE GIVEN TO SELECTMEN <br /> BY FUDALA, MIKE HANLON AICD THE CHAIR WAS THAT IT SHOULD BE A TOWN WIDE OPERATION ENTIRE TOWN SF JLD <br /> BE CONSIDERED ONE SEWER DISTRICT). <br />
