COSTA ADVISED F UDALA THAT THIS BOARD WOULD LIKE To HAVE INPUT FOR OUR OWN <br /> PROTECTION, AND THAT IF THE TOWN IS 'GOING TO WIND DP OWNING THESE PLANTS AT <br /> SOME POINT THEN WE SHOULD HAVE A FACTOR FIGURED IN THERE FOR GROWTH. <br /> THE CHAIR ADVISED MR. COSTA THAT ONCE APPROVED AND CHANGES ARE MADE IT WOULD <br /> BE NECESSARY TO START THE PERMITTING PROCEDURE ALL OVER AGAIN. <br /> MR, COSTA ONCE AGAIN REITERATED THAN IF GROWTH FACTOR WAS FIGURE IN AT THE <br /> CONCEPTUAL STAGE THAT WOULD BE FINE,, HE ALSO STATED THAT HE WOULD NOT SIGN A <br /> PERMIT ALLOWING THE GALLONAGE IF IT WERE FIGURED AT A BARE MINIMUM. HE COR- <br /> RELATED THE REGULATION FOR SEPTIC TAT SIZE, 1500 GAL, To THE REG ON TREATMENT <br /> PLANTS, STATING THAT THE BOARD REQUIRES THE HOMEOWNER To INSTALL THE MINIMUM <br /> SIZE TANK FOR EVEN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE, WHEREAS THE FACTOR IS NOT FIGURED INTO <br /> THE PLANT REGS. HE ALSO SAID HE WOULD FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE IF WE HAD A TOWN <br /> ENGINEER WHO COULD STUDY PLANT PLANS AND REPORT BACK WHETHER, OR NOT THE PLANT <br /> WORLD SUFFICE. <br /> THE CHAIR REQUESTED THAT NONIE GALL MEZZACAPPA AT DEQE AND REQUEST INPUT FROM <br /> HIM ON FIGURING GROWTH FACTOR. <br /> THE TOWN PLANNER TOTED THAT HE WOULD FOLLOW THROUGH ON APPLICANTS REGARDING <br /> THE BOH REG. <br /> THE CHAIR REMINDED THOSE PRESENT THAT THE REGULATION STATES 'THAT THE EFFLUENT <br /> SHALL BE of DRINKING WATER QUALITY' WHICH WOULD MEAN THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO Go <br /> To TERCIARY AND DENITRIFICATION. <br /> IT WAS NOTED THAT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS ALL BOH PERMITS IS FIELDS POINT, AND IT <br /> IS FOR FORTY THOUSAND.
