Approval of sick leave, E. A. McQuaid <br /> 3. Memo to Selectmen, approval of step increase R. Tallent to present grade <br /> step IV, in accordance with Clerical Union Contract. MOTION GRC, SECOND RLW, UNAN. <br /> 4. Report of illegal dumping, as reported by Cpl . Dotteridge, on Old Fire Road. <br /> Laura investigated, found old oil cans w/residue, car hood, according to her as- <br /> sessment the most recent dumping was•a pile of leaves. MR. COSTA REQUESTED THAT <br /> LAURA RETURN TO THE AREA AND RETRIEVE'THE OIL' CANS AND BRING TO SHELL ROUTE 151 , <br /> REQUEST THAT THEY DISPOSE OF OIL. FURTHER ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE TO REMOVE OTHER <br /> DEBRIS AND AREA TO BE POSTED WITH SIGNING. <br /> 5. Environmental Notification Form, Stratford Ponds. State requesting EIR. BOARD <br /> REQUESTS THAT COPIES BE FORWARDED TO: SELECTMEN, PLANNING BOARD, CONSERVATION AND <br /> COTUIT FIRE DISTRICT. • r <br /> 6. Town Counsel repoly to office request on events{with the N. S. Mews IX, 'ANSWER <br /> OF DEFENDANT' FILED. MR. COSTA ASKED THAT NO DISCUSSION BE HELD. <br /> 7. Memo from Exec Sec to C. Buckingham and Virgilio re: Transfer Station. MR.B <br /> ASKED THAT A MEMO BE SENT TO MURPHY AND VIRGILIO ASKING WHAT IS BEING PROPOSED <br /> FOR THE PICKUP OF GARBAGE FROM DUMPSTERS AT TOWN BUILDINGS, WILL IT CONTINUE TO <br /> BE DONE BY INDEPENDENT TRASH PACKERS OR, WILL THE DPW DO THE PICK UP. <br /> 8. With reference to the above Mr. Buckingham requested that Laura check with the <br /> towns of Barnstable and Falmouth for a schedule of their fees. <br /> 9. Joe DiMaggio appeared before the Board in reply to the bi-monthly inspection <br /> report by Weston/Sampson. He advised that as of Sunday violations had been cor- <br /> rected. A discussion followed reference to the operation of the Landfill/Transfer <br /> Station upon expiration of his contract. Mr. B advised that Town Counsel had ruled <br /> that the current contractor could not just continue the operation. Joe expressed <br /> the feeling that he would not mind continuing, it would cost less for him to do <br /> the work than the town to bring equipment in and have to have housing. The Board <br /> suggested he might put something together as a proposal . <br /> 10. Memo, Town Accountant re: Fiscal 1989 budgets. NOTED <br /> 11 . Agenda, CCP&EDC meeting 12/8, Mr. B to attend. <br /> 12. Health Agents Workshop agenda for 12/9.87, to include model well regs. CFB <br /> to attend with Laura. <br /> 13. Memo, Conservation re: 40 Wilsons Grove. BOARD REVIEWED THEY HAD ISSUED OK <br /> TO INSTALL NEW TANK, UPON REVIEWING IT WAS WITHIN TITLE V, CONSERVATION TO BE AD- <br /> VISED. HOWEVER, THIS OFFICE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF PROPOSED UPSTAIRS ADDITION. <br /> 14. Public Health News, Commitment to Cancer Study. NOTED <br /> 15.
