-
- Get approval from Planning Board. Make sure we're cleared through Planning.
14. Sideline Variance request 106 Ship's Anchor, previously granted 6/25/85. Eam states plan basically
46he same as the one previously approved, with less of a variance request. Cfb entertained a mat i on to
rant the roue st. GRC mot i on, RLW second.
15. Request for perk extension, 104 Tide Run, Second request. Motion denied without prejudice, Motion
GRC, second RLW. If they wish to object, they may request a hearing.
APRIL 11, 1988 AGENDA
1. Warrafts signed. Discussion on bill fry AA. OK this time but let Tony know.that from-now on he should
stay within his estimate unless he lets us know. fakes us look bad to have to go for a P.O. after the
fact. GRC to have meeting ConCcm and FinC 4/13/88 to discuss sharing vehicle, will n t' recorrmend sharing.
2. Mrno DEE, Solid Waste Policies. To take home and peruse. Send copy to DPW.
4. Copy letter from Vita-Bao to DEE rye: grease trap regulation. FAM stated that we seat a copy of our regulation
to all the haulers who do business in Mashpee to inform.them to start ruling a ^angermnts to haul the loads off
Cape. CFB - send memo to furphy that BOH is in agrrffnent that the Town enter into contract. Have MIurphy submit
contract with reference to Upper Blackstone. Include the grease traps and septage. This should be prepared in tine
for a special Town meeting.
OCopy SSG and VSQG Survey proposal by Courrty. CFB stated that this has been handled very well by Gary Prahm of COPE
CPEDC has notified a l 1 Generators of the need to r eg i sterx. EAM stated that this was informational. this Was the
topic of the last Agents' workshop. CFB to take home and peruse.
7.G p , letter f ream LCR tank Services to County. GRC - keep hardy for inquiries once the- u l at i n becomes
effective.
. Memo, EAM to BOH :, Underground Storage Tank Pemits.CFB when we adopted this regu l at ion we seat copies to
the Building Inspector. It won t t hurt to send them another. GRC since this was approved by CFB&RLW in 1979, .onl y
2 permits have been issued. With our new regulation when we find sone registering an unperr itted tank well
have to take some action. When they come in toreisten their tank .wo a permit we'll have to have them come
before the BOH and tell us why we should,-let it`stay in the"ground. CF I'd r ad e them an wer to it. GRC 'ire
created a liability for the oil dealers who do not report unregistered fuel tanks. If the tank should leak and
the dealer has 'not notified us that the tank was unregi stered when they delivered they are l i able for the cleanup.
EAM if we start calling people i n before ore the Board-and this gets out, noone will voluntarily register their
tanks and we'll have to re 1 y on the dealers notifying us. CFB we want to make it as vo 1 unta rr as possible but
what we became aware of we rrust investigate. It will beco-ne important to us as to when the testing will start.
GRC excuse for not knowing the i%u1ation existed is no excuse. I want to-know that the tanks installed o
a permit meets the safety regulations set out in the regulation. I wart to know that it's in ground properly..
EAM to send copy of r u 1 at i on to Building Dept. asking for^their cooperation in the enforcement of this reg.
9. Memo, EAM to GRC re: Need for veh i s l e* .G C was not well rece i ved by FINCOM Follow-up meet i rig to be held
w Fincam and ConCam with figures indicating increased revenues by B1 by septic inspections. If they insist
on sharing vehicle, would rather wait a year and thea get our own. CFB to attend meeting. Sh ar i ng is not
plausible. CFB& C agreed we still need two cans.
401scussion followed r : RLW leaving early because his wife is very sick at hare}
