Minutes, May 165 1988 Meeting accepted, mrtion RLW, second GRC. <br /> Due to the fact that there are legal docu mTts which meed to be signed by the Chairman,, and since it has <br /> taken- longer than expected to have the -third m ber; of the Board sw.om i n, the BOH decided to rearrange <br /> its officers. <br /> RLW nominated CRC as Chairman. GRC nominated RLW as Co-Chairman. Being no other nominations, nominations <br /> closed. All in favor of CRC being Chai ian , unanimous; all in favor of RLW being C -Chairnan, unanimous. <br /> Norm i nat i ons for a c l erg will be tabled until the third mnber is present. <br /> 3. Personnel Board recc rmendat i on : pri roc i p l e c l erk position. <br /> GRC attended the interviews and agrees w/the PB recanendat ions R C reca miended that the DCH appo i rrt Veronica <br /> Warden to the position of Principle Clerk. RLW ncrninated VW to Principle Clerk, RGC seconds. VW to start 5/31/8B <br /> RGC informed RLW as to how he arrived at his choice of .nor i pees: [t Laughlin teneded to be shy in dealing <br /> w/the pub 1 i c, PB found her a p s i t i oan elsewhere;the third nom i nee Nori u s waned to be in accounting, didn't <br /> know how long she would stay. She was also found another position. GRC stated the VW has had clot of experience, <br /> deals well w/the public and has been w/the Board of Appeals. Papers to b 'signed. <br /> 4. Copy, DEQE letter to Hostetter, Willudxrd Treatment Plant. EAM informed BCH that this is a written follow- <br /> up to what DEQE -had already inforn d us: DEQE cannot approve the Treatment Plant nor will it approve the interim, <br /> the reason is one of leagality where the individual lot owners are riot a pan of the association responsible for <br /> continued maintenance of the treatment plant. Willowbertd is dif, frm other treatment plant developments <br /> that part of it is condo and the half is private lots. All have to be in the deeded association to force <br /> intenance of plant when de elopper moves on. GRC asked that EAM call Hostetter on this and follow-up /letter <br /> letting him know we are aware of the hold up and will help in anyway we can. <br /> . EAM stated that in talking to here Polka, Dern suggested that we <br /> propose an article for a special Town meeting to have the approximate $10,ODQ leftover after satisfying the <br /> contract w/W&S in the Septage and Lagoon Account to our Sanitation and Enviromwrtal account out of whisk <br /> e can pay to have whatever repairs are necessary to the lagoons to satistfy the DEE order. In fact the <br /> eptae and Lagoon accourrt cannot be touched by this board because it is tied into a participatory agree- <br /> ment r/the Mate where it pays 90% of the cost of the study and the Town pays the rest. Motion to transfer <br /> whatever monies are leftover from the S&L acct to the S&E acct GRC, second RLW. EAM to set it up <br /> 11. Nom, EAM re; Dick and E 1 l i e's. EAM indicated the George Heufe l der stopped by on nday and i nfor ed <br /> the BCH of his inspection at the Flea Market over the week-end. He found damaged canned and other goods, <br /> also found medical articles-being sold w license. He stated. that he thought we should send Wasil reg <br /> tier informing him of his faiTlure to camply-with the special that <br /> issued to him by the Bd of Appeals. <br /> sued that this happens every ,year and that sune-thing should be done about it.
