Greelish- questioned the Board as to what items are prohibited from the <br /> metal pile. <br /> Mr. costa ,r es o ded hazardous materials such as demolition items. <br /> J. <br /> Mr. Virgilio quest'loned whether ti res, ire accepted and i -the fee charged <br /> could be equivalent to, the {fee charged to remove 'them. <br /> Mr. costa responded tires are accepted and agreed to Mr. V i rg i l i o's fee <br /> and suggested a tarp be placed over the tires . <br /> M . Virgilio stated he would not like to accept waste oils. <br /> Mr. Costa was in agreeance and commented those materials will be accepted <br /> when the transfer station begins. <br /> Mr. Virgilio informed the Board that he did appropriate $5,000-00 to remove <br /> hazardous waste materials and commented that part of this money could be applied <br /> to a homeowners hazardous waste drop-off held once a year. <br /> Mr. costae informed Mr. Virgilio that this year we have participated with <br /> Barnstable county Health Dept. for this drop-off which will be held at the <br /> fairgrounds and informed Mr. Virgilio taht he must secure a E,P,A number for <br /> any future proposals for hazardous waste pick-ups. <br /> Mr. Virgilio informed the Board that he would like to change the fence <br /> around the perimeter of the landfill area , changes made would be a more solid <br /> fence and the height of.the fence would be increased. <br /> Mr. costae suggested all newspapers brought in should be tied and bundled. <br /> Mr. Greelish suggested Mr. Virgilio purchase a large ball of string which, <br /> should be kept at the site to tie up newspapers. <br /> Mr. Virgi,lio st abed he has not received not i f i cat-ion from Weston & Sampson <br /> and explained the 30 day requirement.-begins tomorrow. <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented that Mr. DeMaggio has assured this Board that the <br /> area shall be brought up to the proper standards before the D.P.W. tabes over. <br /> Mr. costae stated Mr. DeMaggio did inform him that the road would be cut <br /> out within the- week and commented that nothing has taken place a the site. <br /> Mr. Virgilio informed the Board that according. to all documentation Mr. <br /> DeMaggio has a cap where he worked. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated Mr. DeMaggio is in agreeance that if there is no <br /> capping material on site than It must be left in a state to be capped. <br />
