MINUTES May 31 , 1988 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Virgilio stated he believes th Selectmen have a copy of Town Counsel 's ruling and commented that he l d provide to this Board a Copy f his ruling. He explained dump stickers will be available to the public at the D.P.W. beginning July 1 , 1988 . Greelish stated $15,00 for each vehicle is out of line and comment- ed the citizens f the Town with appraised property taxes are already paying for this operation and is the most equitable tax dollar we have. Mr. Virgilio requested permission from this Board to operate the landfill between the hours of 7:00 and 3:30 and explained that these hours are requested so that other help acrd equipment, when necessary, can be utilized during -the hour work day and not be on ars overtime basis. Mr. Costa stated it is his understanding that the Board of Health does not regulate the hours. Mr. Virgilio stated he is -requesting permission as a Courtesy to this Board. The Board was in agreeance with the hours proposed by Mr. Virgilio. Mr. Virgilio exp,l,a i,ned that due to the setup of machinery he would like to Trandate hours for du psterrs and dumptru l s . Mr. Costa stated he will request Mr. McQuaid to notify commercial owners. . Virgilio stated .the hours proposed for the dump teas and dumptru ks are from 8:80 to 3:00; F .1.. .1.. . He commented the wood chips will be used throughout the Town however has no objections to pr ov i d i rig the public, access to them. Mr. Costa stated he would prefer the D.P.W, to utilize the wood Chips arx uad the perimeter of 'the dump and at other locations in town and suggested . Virgilio consult with Town Counsel . Mr. Virgilio questioned the Board as to where they would prefer the pilings. Mr. Costa suggested Mr. Virgilio consult with Weston and Sampson as they have the area mapped.
